“Intro to Knife Skills” with Chef Vincent $150 per person for class, printed materials, lunch & wine.
The most important tool any cook has is their knife. Chef Vincent will teach you the basics of how to use a knife, the basic cuts and techniques, how to hold one and which knife to select for each task. You will use various knives to slice, dice, chop, julienne, and filet vegetables and protein.
Each class includes:
90 minutes of cooking instruction
Family-style farmhouse lunch
2 glasses of wine per person
Coffee or tea service
The price is all inclusive. It includes the $100 cost of the class and 8.7% sales tax.
LOGISTICS
Classes begin when our doors open promptly at 10:30am. Lunch is around 12:30pm. All cooking and food supplies are provided for the class instruction

Spring is Egg Season. We don’t tend to think of eggs as seasonal anymore, what with the grocery stores being continuously stocked with them, but they are. If you have a backyard flock, then you have no doubt noticed the occurrence of egg laying is closely tied to the appearance of the Easter Bunny. The return of longer days and more light – and the way that light affects a photo-sensitive part of the hen’s head – means more eggs.
With spring and Easter Bunnies in mind, we will teach you all you ever wanted to know about how to select, cook, care for and serve one of the most versatile foods there is: the egg.
